Thatâs a handy shortcut option that will manually save you importing pictures. -at the bottom left, there is something that says 'show settings', select 'All'. If you select Import photos and videos, your camera memory cardâs photos will be automatically imported into either the Windows 11 Photos app or OneDrive. The Import photos and videos and Open folder to view files options might be the best ones to choose there. Click that drop-down menu to select a setting. Go to Video > Fullscreen, Video > Subtitle Track to adjust settings. Click to select and highlight the VIDEOTS folder and click Open. That menu includes six AutoPlay action options for inserted memory cards. Select VideoTS folder and click browse to find folder. Photographers will be more interested in the Memory card drop-down menu. Find the section you want to autoplay (DVDs, CDs, etc.) and click the 'Choose a default'. The above command opens a VLC window (in fullscreen), plays the video, and then closes the window/program. ![]() In the upper right of the Control Panel window, choose 'Large Icons' from the View by 'Large Icons' then click. Add the command vlc://quit to the end of your command line. If you select the Ask me every time setting, a pop-up menu with the above options will open when you insert a drive. Right-click on the Start menu and select Control Panel 2. The Open folder to view files option is perhaps the best one because that opens File Explorer when you insert a drive, which is something youâll have to do to view a USB storage deviceâs contents. Selecting Configure storage settings will configure AutoPlay to open Storage Settings when you insert a drive.
